The first thing you gotta do when it comes to DIVI 5 is RELAX. It is not like learning everything all over again. Sure some things have moved and a few others have changed a bit but it’s still DIVI familiar. You will get it and we will help.
Is Divi 5 Good for Beginners?
Absolutely. Divi 5 is great for all skill levels.
Will Divi 5 Cost More?
No. There have been no price increases since Divi 5 has been available in public Alpha. If you are already a member of Elegant Themes Divi 5 is included for you to download now.
Do All the current Layouts work with Divi 5?
YES. All the Layouts from Divi continue to work. Elegant Themes still creates new professional layouts all the time as well. Not to be confused with Divi Quick sites which we will cover later. DIVI LAYOUTS
No Shortcodes? But some of my plugins use them still.
Keep in mind that while DIVI 5 is no longer using shortcodes you can still use them from external plugins. If you use a plugin that uses them they can still be added to the Divi text editor etc. and they will work. Shortcodes will likely vanish altogether from the WordPress landscape in the future as there are far more efficient ways to display their content. Not to worry for now however.
